Some features let you send us content voluntarily:
- Community Chat: messages you post are stored and shown to other users in real time.
- Feedback: if you use the in-app "Send Feedback" feature, we collect the message text you type, together with your app version, device model, and Android version, to help us fix issues and improve the app.
Content you provide through these features is submitted with an anonymous ID (Firebase) and is not linked to your real identity. We do not ask for your name or email in these features. Please do not include personal or sensitive information in chat messages or feedback.
2. Advertising (If Applicable)
Our app may display ads provided by third-party ad networks (such as Google AdMob).
These ad networks may collect:
- Advertising ID (if available)
- Device information
- Approximate location (country-level only)
This information is used to show relevant ads and measure ad performance.
You can reset or limit ad personalization from your device settings.

We use third-party analytics tools (such as Google Firebase Analytics) to understand how users interact with the app — for example, which sounds are played and which features (Mixer, Timer, Favorites, etc.) are used. 4. Community Chat & Feedback Moderation
To keep the community safe, the app provides tools to report and block other users, and we may remove content or restrict users who violate our guidelines. Chat messages and feedback are stored using Google Firebase.

The app may request only essential permissions, such as:
- Internet access (for ads, chat, feedback, or updates)
- Notifications (for the optional bedtime reminder)
We do not access:
- Contacts
- Camera
- Microphone
- Files or media
- Location (GPS)
6. Children's Privacy
Rain Sounds for Sleep & Relax does not target children under the age of 13.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal data, please contact us and we will remove it immediately.
