Privacy Policy for Draw Anime Tracing AR Drawing
PRIVACY POLICY FOR DRAW ANIME TRACING AR DRAWING
Last updated: 1 August 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how we ("we," "us," or "our") collect, use, and
disclose information when you use the mobile application Draw Anime Tracing AR
Drawing (package com.ardrawing.sketch) (the "App").
The App has no user accounts. You cannot register, sign in, or create a profile,
and we never ask you for your name, email address, phone number, or any other
contact or identity information.
1. DEVICE PERMISSIONS
Camera. Used only to show a live camera preview underneath a semi-transparent
reference drawing, so you can trace onto real paper. The App does not
photograph, record, save, or transmit anything from your camera. The camera feed
is displayed on screen and never leaves your device.
Photos (system photo picker). If you choose to trace your own image, the App
opens Android's system photo picker. Only the single image you pick is made
available to the App, it is used solely as an on-screen overlay, and it is never
uploaded. The App requests no storage or media permissions.
Notifications. The App requests permission to post notifications. The current
version does not send any notifications; this permission is reserved for
optional drawing reminders in a future release. No information is collected
through it. You can deny or revoke it in your device settings at any time.
Internet and network state. Used to download reference drawings, load the in-app
image browser, and serve advertising.
2. INFORMATION STORED ONLY ON YOUR DEVICE
The following never leaves your device and is deleted when you uninstall the App:
- Your favourite drawings, and which drawings you have opened
- Your drawing statistics, streaks, rank progress, and daily challenge status
- Images you save from the in-app browser, stored in the App's private storage
- Images you select from your own photo library
3. INFORMATION WE COLLECT
3.1 Analytics (collected by us via Google Analytics for Firebase)
- Screens you view and how long you spend on them
- Which drawing categories you open, and when you start a drawing in trace or
sketch mode
- Crash reports and diagnostic/performance information
- A randomly generated app instance identifier and your Advertising ID
3.2 Search terms (collected by us via Firebase Realtime Database)
When you use the "Browse Online" feature, the exact words you type into the
search box, or the suggestion you tap, are transmitted to and stored on our
Firebase Realtime Database, together with a server timestamp and whether the
term was typed or tapped. We use this to understand what subjects our users want
to draw so we can add them to the App.
These entries are not linked to your name, account, device identifier, or
Advertising ID. They are stored indefinitely unless you ask us to remove them
(see Section 8). Please avoid entering personal or sensitive information into
the search box.
We also maintain an anonymous per-drawing counter ("times drawn") in the same
database. It records only which reference drawing was opened, contains no
identifiers, and cannot be traced back to any individual.
3.3 Advertising (collected by our advertising partners)
The App is free and supported by advertising. Our advertising partners are:
- Google AdMob - https://policies.google.com/privacy
- Meta Audience Network - https://www.facebook.com/privacy/policy - which serves
ads through AdMob mediation
These partners may automatically collect:
- Your Advertising ID and device information (model, operating system version)
- Ad interaction data - impressions, clicks, and viewability
- Approximate location derived from your IP address (typically city-level). The
App itself never requests or accesses your device's location.
This information is used to select and measure advertisements, including
personalised advertising where permitted. It is shared with these third parties,
who process it for their own advertising purposes.
3.4 Content delivery and third-party web content
Reference drawings are delivered from the jsDelivr content delivery network,
which receives your IP address as part of any ordinary web request.
The "Browse Online" feature opens Bing Image Search (Microsoft) inside the App.
While you use it you are browsing the open web, and Microsoft collects
information under its own privacy policy
(https://privacy.microsoft.com/privacystatement). We do not receive or record
which searches you run there or which results you view; we only download the
image bytes of a picture you choose to save, directly to your device.
The App also uses Google Play In-App Review to occasionally invite you to rate
the App, and Google Play Services.
4. HOW WE USE INFORMATION
- To operate the tracing and sketching features
- To understand which categories and subjects are popular, so we can add more
drawings
- To diagnose crashes and improve stability and performance
- To display and measure advertising
We do not sell your personal information. We do not build profiles about you,
and we do not combine analytics data with any identity information, because we
hold none.
5. LEGAL BASES (EEA AND UK USERS)
Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we rely on our legitimate interests in
operating, securing and improving the App for analytics and crash reporting, and
on your consent for personalised advertising and any non-essential identifiers.
Where consent is required, you may withdraw it at any time (see Section 7).
6. DATA SECURITY AND RETENTION
All data transmitted by the App is sent over encrypted HTTPS/TLS connections. No
method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable
measures to protect information.
Analytics data is retained according to Google's Firebase retention settings.
Search terms in our database are retained indefinitely unless deletion is
requested. Data held by our advertising partners is retained under their own
policies.
7. YOUR CHOICES
Reset or delete your Advertising ID. Android Settings > Google > Ads > Delete
advertising ID or Reset advertising ID, and Opt out of Ads Personalisation.
Opt out of personalised ads at https://adssettings.google.com
Revoke camera or notification permission in Android Settings > Apps > Draw Anime
Tracing AR Drawing > Permissions.
Delete all on-device data by uninstalling the App.
8. YOUR RIGHTS AND DATA DELETION REQUESTS
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete,
or restrict processing of your information, to object to processing, to data
portability, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. California
residents have rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know and to
delete; we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined
by the CCPA.
Because the App has no accounts, we usually cannot identify which records relate
to you. To request deletion of search terms, email us the approximate date, the
terms you entered, and your country, and we will locate and remove matching
entries. Email anisrahman.contact@gmail.com - we respond within 30 days.
9. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
The App is not directed to and is not intended for children under 13. We do not
knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a
child has provided us with personal information, contact us at the address below
and we will delete it.
10. INTERNATIONAL TRANSFERS
Our service providers - Google, Meta, and Microsoft - operate globally, so your
information may be processed in countries other than your own, including the
United States. Transfers out of the EEA or UK rely on the relevant provider's
standard contractual clauses or other approved safeguards.
11. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on
this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Please review it periodically.
